Cheetahs are the
world fastest land animal. Cheetahs can run 70 mph and that's as fast as
the cars go on the highway. They can reach their highest speed in 3
seconds. In just one stride, cheetahs are able to travel 23 to 26 feet at
their highest speed. The cheetahs feet only touches the ground twice in
one stride.
DID YOU KNOW...
When cheetahs are
running, they use their tails to steer and turn kind of like a car.
Also, it is
important that cheetahs don't get too hot with such high speed running.
